In 1993, I began working on this album in Ireland with Phil Coulter. Due to loosing our funding for this album it remained unfinished for 20 years. I approached Phil in May of 2013 and asked him about finishing the album we started 20 years ago. He graciously agreed and we rekindled a musical relationship that I believe will continue for years to come. I love singing Phil’s songs. All of his lyrics are filled with deep
meaning and beautiful melodies. One of the great coincidences was we finished the album where we started it at Westland Studios in Dublin. Phil played the same Baldwin Grand Piano and we recorded everything through the same console, the SSL 4048 E Series. It was like we never left the studio… I have noted the tracks that were recorded in 1993. Phil Coulter’s music is timeless. I think they all flow into each other as if they were recorded at the same time. Enjoy…
