The Ancient Order of Hibernians and Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians in Nassau County sponsors the Long island Irish Fest on October 15, 2023. The Festival will be a day of Irish Music and dancing, featuring some of the top international Irish bands, like Schelilagh Law, Andy Cooney, Derek Warfield and the Young Wolfe Tones, The Narrowbacks and Darren Keily, direct from County Cork.  Also, local acts such as The Hambones and Sporting Paddies will be there on the day. It will be held at Plattduetsche Park in Franklin Square and will be replete with traditional Irish music, including a sesson area, dancers and pipe bands, as well as out headline acts.

And since it’s a Sunday, Mass will be celebrated at 11am with Music by Andy Cooney.

The day centers around Irish tradition. We are looking to raise awareness of our culture and history. Along with the Nassau County Feis, we feel that this festival will be the ultimate compliment to our cause
