Andy Cooney, direct from his SOLD OUT performances at Carnegie Hall, Irish America’s Favorite Son – comes to your stage with some of America’s most loved music. Surrounding himself with quality artists, Andy’s Forever Irish is a joyful occasion.
With his outstanding voice and dynamic stage presence, Andy is a favorite among American and Irish audiences. The combination of his talent, versatility, and flair for entertaining equals the ability to deliver a song directly into the hearts of his audience.
Andy is a musician, songwriter, vocalist, and true entertainer. His immediate rapport with people, his boyish charm and good looks, and his delight in entertaining coalesce to create what can only be called Magic. Whether playing to a packed house or an intimate gathering, he delivers the same performance, endearing him to every audience who comes to his concerts.
Andy has enlisted the lovely Irish Sopranos to bring a celebration of happiness to your venue; a memorable experience for every audience.
The Irish Sopranos are the poster girls for beauty and talent! With their sensational voices, stunning good looks, extensive training, and international experience, The Irish Sopranos are the real deal. They WOW audiences at every stop, bringing crowds to their feet throughout each concert. Wendy Dwyer, Kay Lynch, and Deirdre Masterson are the crème de la crème of Irish classical vocal talent.
All three ladies have had extensive classical training and each possesses a very distinctive, very individual voice. Combined, they comprise lyric, lyric coloratura, and dramatic soprano, producing a wonderful harmonic texture, lending themselves perfectly to the ravishing harmonies for which The Irish Sopranos are known.
But make no mistake, The Irish Sopranos go beyond opera in their concert performances! Their repertoire includes Broadway, pop, and yes … some of the best Irish vocals you will ever hear. Their delivery of the music of their homeland is passionate, commanding, and brilliant.
Darrah Carr Dance will be with us for this upcoming tour. The past decade has seen an explosion of popularity for Irish dance. These exciting dancers are sure to dazzle the audience with traditional Irish step and contemporary modern dance, a great combination providing a meeting place for the cultures of Ireland and America.
To complete Forever Irish, Andy Cooney and The Irish Sopranos will be accompanied by Andy Cooney’s “World Famous Irish Band”!, lead by Musical Director Brian Moran, a most accomplished musician from New York. Andy’s band will feature Matthew Fisher on flute and whistles, percussionist Jimmy Kelly and guitarist Colm Graham.
Andy Cooney’s Forever Irish is a family experience, an Irish experience, a musical experience...and a memory-making experience for everyone!
