Tuesday, October 9th – UNITED STATES TO DUBLIN

Depart JFK on Aer Lingus ight 108 nonstop to Dublin departing at 8:50pm. Enjoy in- ight entertainment and meal service as you start your vacation. If you’re home airport is not JFK please contact Caddie Tours to arrange your ight to Dublin and return from Shannon.

Wednesday, October 10th – DUBLIN ARRIVAL & CAVAN

After landing at Dublin Airport, complete customs and immigration formalities. Our driver/guide Matt Nolan will welcome you to Ireland and escort you and your luggage to the coach. After you land enjoy breakfast at Taylor’s in Johnstown near Navan. Continue north to Cavan where we’ll spend two nights at Crover House Hotel. Relax and explore the grounds, play some golf before we meet for dinner in the hotel.

Thursday, October 11th – CAVAN COUNTY MUSEUM

This morning meet your driver guide at 9:30am in the hotel lobby. Today, visit Cavan
County Museum and is housed in the former Convent of St. Clare in Balllyjamesduff. The
Museum was established to collect, conserve and display the material heritage and culture
of County Cavan, over its 6000-year history, for the bene t of the people The former
convent building comprises the exhibition spaces and gardens.[The collections range
from prehistoric to modern objects, including the Killycluggin Stone, the Lavey Sheela na
gig, costumes in the Pighouse Collection, and GAA paraphernalia. We’ll have lunch at the
Percy French bar in Cavan Town which pays tribute to the Irish Songwriter, Entertainer,
Poet and Painter Percy French, is a favorite among Cavan people. Return to your hotel and relax before dinner at the hotel restaurant with the group followed by a performance by Andy Cooney and friends.

Friday, October 12th – TITANIC MUSEUM BELFAST

This morning meet your driver guide at 9:30am in the hotel lobby. Today, visit Titanic Museum in Belfast. A trip to Belfast would not be complete without a visit to the renown Titanic Belfast Visitor Attraction which uses full-scale reconstructions and innovative interactive features for us to explore the Titanic story from her conception in Belfast in the early 1900s, through her construction and launch, to her infamous maiden voyage and catastrophic demise. After lunch we’ll check into your hotel and spend the balance of the afternoon free to relax or freshen up before dinner at the hotel restaurant with your fellow travelers.

Saturday, October 13th – GIANTS CAUSEWAY & GLENS OF ANTRIM

This morning meet your driver/guide at 9:30am in the hotel lobby. Today, we depart Belfast for a tour of Northern Ireland’s spectacular Antrim Coast and the Giant’s Causeway, a world heritage site. Stand on the hills and you’ll look down on thousands of basalt columns tumbling down into the Atlantic Ocean. It’s an epic sight, with a whopping 40,000 hexagonal-shaped
pillars, formed during a volcanic age almost 60 million years ago. Tour of Bushmills Distillery – founded in 1608 this is the oldest licensed distillery in the world. Here you will see the entire distillation process and also get to sample the product! Return to your hotel and relax before dinner at the hotel restaurant with the group followed by a performance by Andy Cooney and friends.

Sunday, October 14th – ULSTER AMERICAN FOLK PARK

This morning meet your driver/guide at 9:30am in the hotel lobby. Attend 10am Mass at St. Mary’s Church in Belfast. Continue to Omagh to visit the Ulster American Folk Park…. Today, we visit the Ulster American Folk Park, which is located on their farm of Thomas Mellon. Visit the cottage home and many other cottages, a school, a church and farms to see the rural way of life for the past centuries. Continue your journey into Donegal, check into your hotel and enjoy some free time to explore the beautiful grounds before dinner at the hotel restaurant overlooking Lough Eske.

Monday, October 15th – SLIEVE LEAGUE AND TRIONA DESIGN

After breakfast drive on to Killybegs and Teelin to view Slieve League sea cliffs, where the highest point reaches 1,972 feet making them the highest in Europe. The cliffs drop straight down to the wild Atlantic waves below and you will see marvelous vistas. Enjoy tea and homemade scones before driving through the majestic Glengesh Pass. Visit Triona Design in Adara where the Centre remains the epicentre of Donegal Tweed production to this day and has a proud heritage that is renowned across the world. The Visitors Centre is based in the location where Donegal Tweed was born and within the centre you will see our Master Weavers working on Looms that have been used for centuries, a replica Weavers Cottage and a warm welcome to our Tax Free Shop and have an complimentary Irish Coffee. Return to our hotel and have dinner tonight followed by a performance by Andy Cooney & friends.

Wednesday, October 17th – KNOCK SHRINE & MEDIEVAL BANQUET

This morning meet your driver/guide at 9:30am in the hotel lobby. The Story of Knock began on the 21st August, 1879 when, at approximately 8 o’clock in the evening, fteen people from the village of Knock in Co. Mayo, witnessed an Apparition of Our Lady, St. Joseph, St. John the Evangelist, a Lamb and cross on an altar at the gable wall of the Parish Church.The witnesses watched the Apparition in the pouring rain for two hours, reciting the Rosary. Although they themselves were saturated not
a single drop of rain fell on the gable or vision. There were fteen of cial witnesses to the Apparition, most of whom were from the village of Knock and surrounding areas and ranged in age from just 5 years old to 74 years old. Each of the witnesses gave testimonies to a Commission of Enquiry in October 1879. Time to shop and have lunch before we leave in the afternoon for Ennis. Continue your journey into Co. This morning meet your driver/guide at 9:30am in the hotel lobby. We drive through the Burren Region, an area of rocky limestone hills where a number of unique owers thrive to view the Cliffs of Moher, one of the country’s most magni cent rock formations. We’ll stop in the town of Lisdoonvarna where over 60,000 gather every year to have fun, party and nd love at the Matchmaking Festival. We’ll meet matchmaker Willie Daly at the Matchmaker pub for lunch and explore the town before we return to our hotel and relax before dinner at the hotel restaurant with the group followed by a farewell concert by Andy Cooney and friends.

Friday, October 19th – RETURN TO THE US

Transfer to Shannon Airport in plenty of time to check in for Aer Lingus ight 111 departing at 12:45pm for JFK. The beauty of ying from Shannon Airport is that you will clear customs and emigration there. There is no Duty Free on board the return ight however but there is ample shopping and duty free stores in the airport.
