American Voices - Songs of our Nation
The voices of Crystal
Gayle and Larry Gatlin have proven to be unbeatable; they won the
Academy of Country Music’s Best Female and Male Vocalists of the Year in
1979. Now the Gayle and Gatlin combination teams up with Irish
America’s Favorite Son, Andy Cooney, proving again to be unbeatable.
Larry Gatlin led The Gatlin Brothers through their
four-decade career singing, harmonizing, and writing their way to win a Grammy
and even an invitation to the White House. After touring with his
brothers, Larry starred on Broadway and on the big screen.
Combining his love of music and theater, Gatlin has recently scored an
entire musical using only his songs, both old and new.
Crystal Gayle’s warm, resonant vocal style created a country
crossover phenomena as timeless as the beautiful music in her repertoire.
Her Grammy Award winning hit, Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue,
is recognized as being one of the ten most performed songs of the 20th
century. Her 21 other Top 10 singles and 16 No. 1 hits helped to make
Gayle one of the most popular singers of her era.
Andy Cooney’s dynamic stage presence and outstanding voice
keeps him one of the busiest entertainers in
Gayle, Gatlin, and Cooney join together in patriotism
